Grape Varietal: 50% Sangiovese, 50% Prugnolo Gentile
Vineyard: Casanova, Tuscany

Altitude: 300 meters above sea level
Soil: Sandy, ocean sediments
Training System: Cordone Speronato
Harvest: Beginning of September (no fruit from green harvest used)
Yield per acre: 4,000 bottles
Fermentation: After 1 hour of contact with skins in the press, alcoholic fermentation (with natural yeasts) for 15 days at 18˚ C
Aging: 3 months in stainless steel vats on lees
Alcohol content: 12.5% alcohol by volume
Production: 95,000 bottles per year
Tasting Notes: Salmon, petal like with orange reflections in color. Spicy character with sliced ripe peaches, chalk and dry fruit. Complex and full body, but very crisp and clean. Extremely flavorful yet agile, sexy and fresh.
