Grape Varietal: 100% Nebbiolo (clones of Michet and Lampia)
Vineyard: Cannubi, Barolo (from the famous vineyard located in the village of Barolo)  
Vine Age: 30 years
Altitude: 300 meters above sea level
Soil: Calcareous soils and Miocene (Sant’ Agata Marl fossils with a high percentage of sand)
Harvest: mid October
Yield per acre: 1,000-1,600 kg/ha
Fermentation: Vinification takes place in steel tanks under temperature control with frequent pumping over and punch down
Aging: Aged in lightly toasted 30% new French oak for 24 months and one year further in the bottle prior to release  
Alcohol content: 14% alcohol by volume
Production:  3,300 750 ml bottles, 200 magnums of 1.5 L each  
Tasting Notes: Clear and lively garnet red color.  Persistent aroma with floral and fruity notes. On the palate it’s dry, fruity and harmonious, soft but stern, full of long-term persistence due to the tannins.
